The Associate Director, Individual Giving is responsible for growing philanthropic support from individuals who are inspired by Oakland Museum of California’s mission. In addition to managing relationships with some of the Museum’s most generous donors, this individual will also have oversight of the planned giving program. This position works closely with the Executive Director and the Chief External Relations Officer to cultivate, solicit, and steward both unrestricted and programmatic gifts to the Museum. Additionally, the Associate Director, Individual Giving will manage the Individual Giving Manager, providing strategic oversight to the Donor Forum program, the Museum’s higher level donor membership group. This position will work collaboratively across the Museum, partnering with staff to identify fundraising opportunities and to instill a culture of philanthropy across OMCA.
